Journalist, editor, copywriter & consultant
I have over a decade of experience reporting and editing, from breaking news to in-depth analysis and people-first features. I also have considerable experience as a copywriter and editorial consultant.
Journalism
My writing has spanned a range of topics, from higher education, science and politics to restaurant reviews and local community issues.
You can find my bylines in leading publications like Times Higher Education, where I was a reporter for 3 years, The Brixton Bugle, The Guardian and The Observer, The Week UK and Research Professional News.
I also have plenty of experience in editing, particularly at The Brixton Bugle, where I was news editor.
I’ve reported from UK parliament and international conferences, travelled the globe for stories and interviewed politicians and world-renowned academics.
Editorial consultant
I am adept at shaping agency editorial strategy, most recently for branding, design, and market research companies. I help transform clients' ideas and expertise into compelling editorial content and thought leadership.
This involves overhauling their content, providing them with rich cultural articles, as well as ghostwriting, in which I have covered everything from sustainability and business trends to industry insights on the drinks sector and the merits of typography. These articles have appeared in publications such as Campaign, AdWeek, Ad Age, The Drum, Creative Review, Business Reporter and more.
